We all dream of being a legacy through our accomplishments, and yet, maybe a face on a coin. Honour, Inspiration, and Pride describe my Olympic enthusiasm. My initial pride started during my high school years, when I was nominated to volunteer at an Olympic event. This takes me back to a time when these honours were granted by nomination and hard work. Just like our athletes, the same sort of dedication grants us a privilege beyond all description. I understand the anticipation and excitement when you are a chosen one to represent our Glorious country. My life now consists of being a wife, mother, nurse and very active in my community, and with each new Olympic Event commencing, I reminisce and anticipate their excitement. For these reasons, I am the "Face of the Games."; experienced, aging, and proud.
